Sri Chamundeshwari Temple

One of the unique aspects of the Chamundi Temple is the impressive statue of Mahishasura, the demon king slain by Goddess Chamundeshwari, located near the entrance. Another highlight is the Nandi statue, a colossal monolithic sculpture of Lord Shiva’s bull, situated halfway up the hill. This statue, carved out of a single piece of granite, is one of the largest of its kind in India and is a marvel of craftsmanship.
